Let's Talk Nail Polish!

Let's Talk Nail Polish!

I'm sure most of us prefer to go to the nail salon and be pampered! {Can I get an AMEN??} But on those days when you need to save money or just can't get away, there is a great alternative I've nailed for doing my nails at home! It's taken me years and lots of fun recommendations to be this happy with them, so I wanted to share my key products! {These work great for your toes too, but I didn't do my own this time!}

I painted these ladies 2 nights ago and haven't been "easy" on them since!

These are the products I used:
OPI: I'm Suzi & I'm a Shopoholic

And last but not least, these are just my tips.
1) Start with the bonder as your base coat. It just dries very fast and works so well I take it to the nail salon every time when I do get to go!
2) I'm right handed so I always paint my right hand first. I'm more prone to mess that one up so I start with it that way I can use my undone nails to fix mess ups ;)
3) I paint 2 coats, but fairly light so it doesn't get too thick
4) End with that Seche Vite top coat. I swear it's magical!
5) Lastly, these two products below are fantastic! I buy them both at HEB, but I'm sure you can get most places. The nail dryer I spray on at the end and it smells like Island Coconut!! It really works and help get rid of that "tacky" feel!
6) I love this nail polish remover - it lasts forever and takes 2 seconds to get my polish off. In addition, I use an old makeup brush (pictured) to dip in and fix my mess ups at the end! Easy as can be!

Happy painting and ask any questions you have in the comments! Share any pics if you try out some new techniques! XOXO!
